Dining Services at Opelousas General Health System

Visitors may eat in the Lil' General Cafe located on the first floor.

The Lil' General Cafe' is located on the first floor of the Main Campus next to the Lobby Shop and Admit area. The Lil' General Cafe' offers hot meals, soups, a salad bar and a sandwich shop. The sandwich shop offers hamburgers, subs, sandwiches, grilled Panini’s, croissants, burritos, pancakes and omelets.

Hospital Gift Shop

At our hospital gift shop, The Lobby Shop, you will find a broad range of items that will send your best thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery. You will find a wide assortment of quality gift items as well as things that may have been forgotten at home. Caring staff will assist in finding exactly what is needed from the basics such as toothbrushes to the latest trends in gift shop merchandise.

Some of the gifts that will brighten your loved one's day include:

We also have a great selection of candy, chips, gum and mints for those sweet cravings!

If you would like to place an order by phone, call our direct line (337) 407-4447. We can select and package your order for pick up. Together we will make sure your loved one knows you care. With your assistance, we will carefully select the perfect gift, balloons, plush, wall decor or candy/snack basket for your patient.

The Lobby Shop hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday & 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Saturday.

The Courtyard Coffee Shop

While you are at the hospital be sure to stop by the Courtyard Coffee Shop. As you near our coffee shop, just next door to the cafeteria, you will likely smell the wonderful scent of fresh coffee. In our relaxed seating area you can enjoy a variety of our coffee specialties including Cappuccinos, Lattes, Aul lait, hot chocolate as well as a cup of Community Coffee. Ces Bon!
