WellSmart Health of Arnaudville Elementary-School Telemedicine
School Telemedicine
Opelousas General Health System in collaboration with the St. Landry Parish
School Board, provides Telemedicine services to the students of Arnaudville
Elementary. Launching in January, 2019, this program allows students to
be seen by a healthcare provider, while they are at school, via telemedicine
technology.
Opelousas General staff will be on the campus of Arnaudville Elementary
during school hours to treat patients who present symptoms of illness.
The OGHS staff member will alert the student's parent/guardian of the
illness and provide information about the diagnosis and treatment.
