Opelousas General Health System Announces Hall of Fame Event

Kenneth Cochran, DSc, RN, FACHE, President & CEO of Opelousas General Health System has announced that in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the hospital, Opelousas General will host the first annual, “Hall of Fame” Gala which will provide a forum for the hospital to recognize, celebrate and spotlight the work of exemplary individuals whose contributions have had a significant impact on the hospital, the community and the patients we serve.

“It is our wish to recognize and honor some of the many individuals who have dedicated their lives to OGHS and led us to where we are today,” said Cochran.

Nominations are now being accepted. Nominees can be living or deceased but must have an affiliation with the hospital as a physician, board member, past employee, or volunteer. Nomination details can be accessed at www.opelousasgeneral.com. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, October 11, 2017.

Inductees will be honored at the Hall of Fame Gala on Thursday, January 25th at Wolff Hall in Washington, LA, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
