Affiliated with Opelousas General Health System, Opelousas Cancer Center is just one of the facility's certified cancer program by the American College of Surgeons. The center is dedicated to providing radiation therapy to cancer patients. Radiation may be given either alone or in combination with surgery and/or chemotherapy to achieve a cure or relieve the pain associated with this disease. Therefore, the oncology patient is assured continuity of care among all disciplines within the Opelousas General Health System's certified cancer program.
