The prevention, detection, and treatment of breast cancer continues to be a major goal in the health care of women at Opelousas General Health System. Through its department for medical imaging, OGHS offers its patients the latest in state-of-the-art mammography, which provides an important adjunct to the physician’s physical examination and is valuable in detecting early breast cancer.
