“Be My Support” Bra Contest
 Are you creative? Do you and your friends want to show your support of Breast Cancer Awareness? Join us by decorating a bra for our “Be My Support” bra decorating contest.
So get your creative juices flowing and get to decorating. The first place prize is $100 chamber cash, 2nd place is $50 chamber cash and 3rd place is $25 chamber cash. The deadline to turn in your entry is 10:00 am Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Decorated bras will be displayed at all our “Paint the Town Pink” events and the winners will be announced at the “Pink Bag Luncheon” on Friday, October 21, 2011.
Contest Rules:
- Must use a padded 36C bra
- Entries must be original
- Contest is open to the public
- Can be individual or group entry
| Judging Rules:
- Title appropriate to finished bra
- Overall design
- Workmanship
- Originality and creative use of materials on bra

Bras must be created in a tasteful style. The committee reserves the right to refuse to display any bra that does not meet standards.
***Entries will not be returned unless requested and must be picked up between November 1 and November 15. After November 15, entries will be discarded.
All entries must be turned in to the OGHS PR/Marketing office by 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Please call 948-5157 to make arrangements to drop off your entry.

Breast Cancer Statistics
In 2009, breast cancer ranked as the number one site of new cancers seen at Opelousas General Health System. Seventy four new breast cancer cases were seen which accounted for 23.3% of the total new cancer cases for 2009.
